This is an outstanding stir-fried green tea that green tea lovers will prefer over many others. The tea leaves are very fragrant upon opening the package for the first time. The first brew is quite interesting with a moderately astringent taste when warm that lingers on the palate. As the liquid cools the astringency becomes milder and a slight sweetness appears which results in a most pleasant finish. The second brew is a milder version of the first that is a little sweeter. A light touch of earthiness comes forth as the liquid cools. Excellent Stir-fried tightly rolled gunpowder tea is destined to become a classic Chinese green tea.
